Many of the crossings depart from Brindisi and sail to various points in Greece. From Brindisi, there are ferry crossings to Patras, Igoumenitsa, Corfu, Paxi, and Cephalonia.

From Brindisi, there are ferry crossings to Patras, Igoumenitsa, Corfu, Paxi, and Cephalonia. Not all crossings are available year round, but all are offered during peak holiday times.

Hellenic Mediterranean Lines services this route as often as six times a week during high season. The total duration for the Brindisi to Patras trip is 16 hours, 30 minutes.

From Brindisi to Igoumenitsa, there are services available all year round, three times per week in non-holiday months, and up to six times per week at peak holiday months. The duration of the ferry journey is approximately 9 hours, 30 minutes.

From Brindisi to Corfu, sailings are available six times per week in the months of July and August, however once peak summer season is over, the sailings decrease to one to two times per month during the winter. The total duration for this trip lasts 12 hours, 45 minutes.

Brindisi to Cephalonia, like Corfu, has sailings six times per week during August, however once the winter months set in, crossings are reduced to just four to five times in a one month period. Ferry crossings on this route can also be subject to weather conditions and customer demand. The crossing is 14 hours, 30 minutes in duration.

Hellenic Mediterranean Line ferries from Brindisi to Paxi are only available from June to September, with number of crossings dependent on weather and demand. During August, however, crossings increase to two sailings per week. The total time for this route is 19 hours, 30 minutes.

HML was established in 1901 in Constantinople, Turkey, by two brothers from the Ionian island of Cefallonia. The company at this time was operating ships linking the Black Sea ports with Constantinople, Thessaloniki, Volos, Piraeus and other ports in the Adriatic Sea.
